Your Relationship with Yourself is Equally Important

Author: George Lockett

We sometimes identify with the things that happen in our life but really we are always free to love ourselves.

Before we can have a meaning full relationship with another person it is important to come to terms with the relationship we are having with ourselves.

We draw to us things that resonate at the same vibration and are in harmony with how we are feeling and thinking. If we wish to change what is showing up in our life we have to change ourselves. We have to change how we feel about things.

Negative feeling often spring from our belief system and judgements, which we make about life and living and the people who are showing up in our life. It is sometimes necessary to bring these beliefs and judgements to the surface of our mind and challenge them. By challenge I mean run them through your mind again and see if they are still serving you.

Ask yourself are these your own beliefs or have you adopted them from your parents or partners? Have you learned them at school or been taught them in a religious setting? Ask yourself what life would be like if you chose to change your mind about these beliefs? How would your judgements change, how would you view yourself and your self worth and love for yourself?

What would happen if you changed your perspective on life and who you are? If you choose to see everything as an aspect of yourself; without any separation just an interaction of love expressed? All relationships were in actual fact a relationship with yourself flowing energy from one aspect of yourself to another aspect of yourself, how would that feel? If you stopped judging yourself and just enjoyed giving your love unconditionally to those that entered your life knowing that we are all one.

How would you feel if you know that your soul was just a silent witness to the events in your life? That your soul was non-changing eternal and absolute, was not in this physical would but looked at it from an eternal continuum of energy, which always was and always would be the same.

How would you feel if you became aware that the love in your heart was connected to an infinite source, which could flow for eternity? That to whichever person you flowed it to, in the end, your love could only come back to yourself: because you and the other person where operation in the same field of energy, which was connecting you both to the same source?

Do you feel you could be strong enough to love yourself and all that showed up in your life? Do you feel that you could love yourself so much that your heart overflowed with this love?

Start to appreciate your self worth, your beauty, your intelligence and grace? Value the help and healing you bring to others in your work and in your life?

How do you think you would feel if you gave yourself permission to start to love yourself again? As you are, doing exactly what you are doing, just because you chose to without judgement?

You can make this choice; you can choose to be happy now in this moment. If you do decide to make this choice, your whole World will change; your whole perspective on life will flow freer. You will be able to drop your story, you will be able to see life as it truly is; the exchange of loving energy flowing from one to another.

Playing in the field of the Self, the oneness of life and love, which is this Universe we live in.

Author Bio:

George Lockett

I have been focusing on personal development for the last 32 years. This has involved the study of Yoga and Meditation and turning the attention in on itself.

This process has led me to some amazing realisations and understandings about who the person is within the body and how this personal awareness interacts with the Universal Mind of the Creator God.

About seven years ago I started practising as a Spiritual Healer. I find the connection that I make to the more subtle energies within myself helps with the effectiveness of my Healing work. I have practised in most parts of the UK, taking a stand at Mind, Body and Spirit Fairs around the country and internationally.

I found also that being aware at these subtle levels opens one's awareness to Spirit and allows the communication to take place between one's senses and those people in Spirit that may wish to communicate from the other side of the veil. These gifts allow me to work as a Medium in the Spiritualist Churches.

I am just releasing my own book describing this wonderful journey of self-realisation, called Journey into the Self A look at the multi-dimensional nature of being human by George E Lockett HealerGeorge.

BookSurge, a Division of Amazon, is publishing this. The book describes a number of events in my life that could be regarded as Paranormal Experiences.

More recently I have joined the Humanity's Team, an organisation founded by Neale Donald Walsch, who wrote the "Conversations with God" series of books.

Humanity's Team is leading the way to this New Spirituality which is developing on the planet at this time as we change our underlying beliefs about Life and God and start to realise our own true nature.
