Wal-Mart Shame - The Banning of Christmas

Author: Gene Labarge

This is something I have warned of before. The banning of the word Christmas. So often it goes unnoticed. "Happy Holidays" and "Seasons Greetings" are certainly not bad terms. It is usually subtle and even subliminal. But it is an anti-Christian movement. Sadly, Wal-Mart seems to have exposed where they are coming from. They have banned the word Christmas from their store greetings. Replacing it with happy holidays. An employee was fired after they admitted in writing what obviously appears to be Wal-Marts stance. That Christmas is a mix of world religions. I think its wrong for Wal-Mart to fire that employee, when through their own actions they support what that employee said. It just amazes me.

Christmas has been the major holiday both religiously and secularly. Where would companies like Wal-Mart be without it? Now we need to hide the origins of it? Its a personal choice how people celebrate Christmas. But it is what it is. Banning nativity scenes and the word Christmas wont change it. It will just add to the number of ignorant people in the world. If you dont want to be among the ignorant people, be alert to the rewriting of history before your very eyes. Sometimes its very subtle. Sometimes not. But it does keep going in a certain direction. Hitler couldnt have done it any better.

I think we should abolish Fathers Day and Mothers Day. There are people without mothers and fathers and we should not offend them. What about gay people? They wont be mothers and fathers if they stay true to their orientation and beliefs. We could call it Parents Greetings Day. But that wont happen. That would take the commercial aspect out of it. These kinds of holidays were invented by stores like Wal-Mart to pad the bottom line. It provokes many people to open their wallets who otherwise wouldnt. Political correctness and hypocrisy go hand in hand, as usual.
