The longer your website addess has been displaying content for search engines to read, the more likely it is to be ranked highly. That is why it's imperative to upload at least one page of relative content about your business while your working on your 'real' website. Make sure search engines find you as soon as possible The important thing is to make search engines instantly aware that you're in business. It'll take months before you start appearing in search results. An important factor in the search engine algorithm is the age of the website. Take time to submit your new website to Google and Yahoo. Don't get carried away with other forms of marketing until you have your proper branded site up and running.
